A Shadow Crown picks up right where A Broken Blade left off. the crown This book expanded on the characters, the world, and the relationship between these characters The first book was obviously a had a lot of tropes within it, and I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but I feel like this one didn't depend so much on tropes like the first one
